Even though Chris and I love trying new wines we understand that not everyone has a taste for fermented grapes as we do.
That's why we created this round up of drink recipes that aren't so wine heavy. They are the perfect introduction to building your wine palate!
Recipe #1: Red, White & Blue Sangria
This recipe is made with crisp and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc (one of my personal faves!). White Sangria is a great option for anyone who is new to trying wine and wants to do so in a conservative manner. Not feeling the red, white and blue theme? You can probably substitute these fruits with any that you enjoy! Here is the recipe:
2 cups strawberries
1 cup raspberries & blueberries
1 bottle chilled Sauvignon Blanc
1 liter Sprite
Stir in carafe or pitcher and pour over ice (we didn't use ice though!)
Recipe #2: Red Sangria
If you are anxious to try a Red then we highly suggest this delicious, class red sangria. We made this for a 4th of July party and heard great things! To learn more about this sangria and how we made it don't miss our blog post here.
Recipe #3: Peach Wine Slushies
This is a recipe that Chris and I have been dying to try, but haven't yet because we need a blender. But, omg doesn't it sound delicious? For this drink you will need white wine. Use a Riesling for a sweet version or Chardonnay for a drier version! Here is the recipe: Strawberry Peach Wine Slushies
